Practising lawyer at the Bar Association of the Balearic Islands (ICAIB) with nearly 20 years’ professional experience and one of the founding partners of CONTESTI&GARAU.
Having worked as a lawyer for ERNST&YOUNG, as deputy director of the legal department of the IBEROSTAR GROUP and as a partner at ROCA JUNYENT, I have gained extensive experience in commercial, contractual and investment consultancy, as well in the administrative and town planning areas, as I often act as external advisor to other law firms and consultants.
I regularly provide legal advice to individuals and Spanish and international companies in diverse sectors, particularly within the tourism, property and services sectors. I am the secretary of the board of directors and legal advisor for various companies with which I maintain a close on-going relationship.
When representing my clients, I defend and negotiate their interests, acting as legal counsel before civil, commercial and contentious-administrative courts, and acting as representative before public, local, regional and national bodies.
I have been appointed as an insolvency practitioner by the courts of Palma de Mallorca on numerous occasions.
