I graduated in Law from the University of the Balearic Islands (2015) and completed my training with the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession (2016) and the Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from the Universitat Empresa Foundation – UIB (2016). I am a practising lawyer and a member of the Illustrious Bar Association of the Balearic Islands. I joined the Bufete Contesti & Garau in April 2016, carrying out my professional activity in the areas of civil, commercial and insolvency law. Since then, I have continuously advised companies and individuals, acting both in the preventive and contentious phases of legal disputes.
I have extensive experience in procedural law, especially in claims for payment, urban leases, condominium law, evictions, contractual and non-contractual civil liability, construction defects and proceedings relating to legal capacity. I regularly act in the processing of inheritances, civil contracting, purchase and sale of real estate, property rights, obligations and contracts, as well as in first registration proceedings and in the alignment of property records with the Land Registry and Cadastre.
I specialise in insolvency law, acting as an Insolvency Administrator in the Balearic Islands jurisdiction, as well as counsel for insolvency proceedings and Second Chance Law proceedings. I also act as an expert
partition accountant in judicial divisions of inheritances.
I also carry out my activity in the commercial field, advising on directors’ liability, commercial contracting, corporate law, bill of exchange proceedings and the keeping of corporate books, as well as on anti-money laundering.
I combine professional practice with academic activity as a tutor-professor
